This is one of the most consistently interesting and beautiful gothic rock albums I've heard in a long time, and I hear a LOT of them. The album starts off strong with one catchy and memorable song after another, and with only a few listens I find myself singing along to it, which is a rarity for me. Sound-wise, the album reminds me at times of fellow French goth rockers Corpus Delicti. Overall though, Brotherhood of Pagans retain a sound all their own.
